Inside, there are a round and a rectangular circuit board soldered together. The casing for the control module is two pieces of plastic held together with four small molded pins. Push the hook into the spring hole and turn it to catch on the plastic. An L shaped hook, with about 2 mm reach will work. Make a hook out of a heavy paperclip to go beside the spring and pull the plastic case. We need to slide the module out the LED end. Be careful to not touch or damage the LED. Put the tool into one of the two holes and push. Use an ice pick, piece of stiff wire, tiny screwdriver, or other tool to turn the LED assembly counterclockwise. Turn the zoom clockwise all the way, so it's fully retracted (closer to the switch). ![]() Hold the zoom "heatsink" and unscrew the lens holder (part with the red ring) counterclockwise. I replaced the coin with a small ball of aluminum foil. I put a coin between the spring in the end cap and the battery. I did some stupid things to try to fix it.įirst, I put two button end 18650 batteries in it. It worked great until recently, then it started dying after about three minutes after a full charge. I received a Nebo Redline Blast RC flashlight as a gift a couple of years ago. If you submit a post and it doesn't come up right away - please message the moderators.
